Eleven out of out of 24 regions of Ukraine are under daily attack by the Russian army: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy (north), Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia (east), Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa (south) - all areas close to the border. Today, it is especially dangerous in Kharkiv: It has become obvious that Russia wants to destroy the city.

Ukraine, Chernivtsi: March 3, 2022 (Day 8) Today, all 24 regions are under the protection of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Territorial Defense Units. Today, we trust in our soldiers and defenders more than in God. Russia, on the other hand, is currently on the verge of state bankruptcy and an economic crisis. Most countries in Europe and the world have already stopped cooperation with Russian banks, companies and institutions. Air connections to and from Russia have been cut. Russian businessman Alexander Konanikin has put a million dollar bounty on Putin's head. The situation in my hometown of Chernivtsi, from which I report, is under control and basically calm. Although we have no Russian tanks in the city, the first tank was already thrown out of the city today. By that, I mean the first tank of the Soviet army, which came to the city on March 25, 1944 to liberate Chernivtsi from fascists. Who will liberate Ukraine from Putin in 2022? This Soviet tank was dismantled today in the city of Chernivtsi. Photo: Wasyl Salyha. Download Graphic In Chernivtsi, we have provided shelters for 16,500 refugees (including 4,800 children) from other Ukrainian cities and villages (mostly from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kherson, Chernihiv and surrounding areas). We help women, children (sometimes traveling without parents) and the elderly to cross the Ukrainian-Romanian border and find refuge in European countries. We equip Ukrainian soldiers by buying urgently needed helmets, protective vests and medicine in Romania and transporting them to the war zones. Every Ukrainian man and woman has been greatly affected by the war. The little girl from Kharkiv, who is staying in my home, asked me when I will come to visit Kharkiv. I don't know what to answer. The military aggression against my country isn't stopping. The worst thing about this war is that it is completely senseless, and Putin himself does not even know what he wants. Soldiers are dying, civilians are dying, children are dying. Churches are destroyed, museums are destroyed, kindergartens and hospitals are destroyed, schools and universities are destroyed. These losses cannot be forgiven. Absolutely not! P.S.: While writing this article, I had to go to the shelter four floors below where I live three times: once in the morning, once in the evening and again at 2 o'clock at night. P.P.S.: For four days, I have been suffering from severe panic attacks. My neighbor is a psychotherapist. She treats me in the basement during the air-raid alarms. Support KATAPULT Ukraine? Let's go!
